Imaging – is the representation or reproduction of an object’s outward form, especially a visual representation. It refers to the techniques and processes used to create images of the human body (or specific parts) for clinical purposes (medical procedures seeking to reveal diagnose or examine disease) or medical science (including the study of normal anatomy and physiology). In widest sense, its part of biological imaging and incorporates radiology, radiological sciences etc. Radiology with PACS technology is mainly which comes under imaging in T-CAS.
